Food was amazing. Never had Mexican food out here that tasted so authentic. I felt like I was back home in Cali. Service was fast and on point. Drinks were well balanced and the horchata tasted like they made it there, not like the powder one. Salsa was actually spicy (Green one is fire). 10/10 for sure.

My fiancé and I are always coming here for a bite. Their ambiance is very welcoming and the service is great! It takes a little while for the food to come out, but it is so worth it! The lengua sopes are always a must for us.

Me and my Wife were hungry for some good Mexican Fare, We decided to visit Mexico Lindo, Our first time visit it's located on Warwick Blvd in Newport News. We're happy that we did stop by for a meal. It's nice and has a good ambiance, Spanish Musica playing in the background, the menu was well packed with many good choices, Michoacan, Salvadoran and Honduran dishes. We chose our meals, and were very pleased with the food and the servers ,The Server Chuy was very attentive and the Cook was very good, We recommend this Cafe if you want delicious fare with good service.

I was so happy to find this place! After moving to the area from California, I was unsure if I would find somewhere that would meet my expectations of good Mexican food. I was happily surprised that the menu options seemed authentic with things I haven't seen on menus in this area, such birria, pozole, and empanadas. The al pastor and carne asada tacos were really good! I will definitely be returning for the birria!

This hideaway is in plain site! Second timing stopping in and brought the wife this time because she can eat Mexican everyday of the week. The salsa and chips are pretty good, especially the salsa which is chunky with tomato, onion, and cilantro. We had the carnitas sand carne asada dinner. Large portions! The corn tortillas were another star of the meal as they are pressed and fresh. Standard sides of red rice, beans, and pico completed the meal. For cola drinkers, they offer Mexican Coke and Sprite in the glass bottle! You know you made a good choice when the staff and most of the patrons are speaking Spanish around you. The staff is friendly and plenty of them to keep you happy!

This was a last minute decision lunch for some friends and I they had a restaurant dot com coupon so we took a chance So happy we did they have the best horchata I've had since Mexico and the service is very speedy and polite The decor is beacon they have cathedral style ceilings and floor to wall murals There is even a separate lil bar in the back The location looks a little iffy because the shopping center has other small shops that are not always open and give that abandoned feel but soon as you walk in you feel the vibe and are at home The food was delicious we did a family meal with meats and shrimp and had so much food we needed to go boxes we also had their soup which was delicious and the pot roast was so tender and well seasoned This is a great more authentic Mexican spot
